SUNDAYS AT 10:30AM
A typical Loft gathering includes at least four elements: music, conversation, prayer, and teaching. There is coffee, tea, and sometimes homemade snacks as well. The gatherings take place in an intimate, casual and relaxed environment upstairs at Westwood Church. When you arrive, simply follow the signs pointing to The Loft. Click here for a map.
What sets us apart from traditional Christian worship services is that we prioritize conversation before, during, and after worship. There are usually one or two questions that community members are invited to discuss within small groups during worship. Sometimes we invite people to share the collective wisdom from their group discussion with the entire congregation. Please know that no one is required to share or even speak if they are not comfortable doing so. We invite you to pay attention to the promptings of your inner voice, and to only share when it feels right for you to do so.
Every Sunday, we offer a dynamic Westwood Kids program for birth-5th graders, and an active Grapple Group for 6th-12th graders.

Through this summer, we are excited to welcome guest preachers to the Loft, to deepen and broaden our conversation and community. Like always, our worship includes questions for conversation with the people who gather. Through June and July, we will invite an incredible group of guests to the center, including Rev. Hannah Adair Bonner, Rev. Kevin Kim Wright, Everest Harvey, Rev. Dr. Kyle Brooks, Rev. Blair Trygstad Stowe, and James Kang.
